Above 500 homes it's 30¢ a home a month: a community of 600 homes pays $180 a month. Yearly plans are the monthly price × 12, less 15%.

Online dues payments

Owners pay online. The money goes straight to your association.

Your association connects its own Stripe account, the same company behind millions of online checkouts. Owners pay by card or bank transfer, and the money settles in the association's bank account. HOAxis never holds it.

Owners pay exactly what they owe, with no added fees. The fees come out of what the association receives, the same way a card reader works at a shop:

  • Stripe's processing fee: 2.9% + 30¢ on cards, 0.8% (up to $5) on bank transfers, paid by the association from its Stripe balance.
  • HOAxis's fee: nothing during the beta. After it, $1.00 per successful payment on the Free plan and 50¢ on the Board plan.
  • Online payments start at $5. Checks and the treasurer's ledger keep working exactly as before.

Pricing questions

The questions boards ask first.

What happens when the beta ends?
Nothing is charged unless a board admin chooses the Board plan. Communities up to 50 homes stay on the Free plan with everything in it. Bigger communities keep working too, with every record readable; they need the Board plan to add homes and to use the four Board plan extras. We'll tell every board well ahead of time.
What if we grow past 50 homes?
The Free plan keeps working with the homes you have. Adding homes past 50 needs the Board plan, which is $49 a month for communities up to 100 homes. During the beta there's no limit.
Is there a fee per board member, per resident, or per feature?
No. Add every board member, committee member and resident you have. The only thing that sets the price is how many homes are in your community, and the only add-ons will be the optional AI tools, priced separately.
Is there a contract? Can we cancel?
The Board plan is monthly or yearly, and you can cancel any time from your Billing page. When you cancel, your community goes back to the Free plan and keeps every record. Yearly plans are 15% off and are paid once for the year.
Who pays the card and bank fees on online dues payments?
The association does, from its own Stripe balance, the same as a card reader at a shop. Owners pay exactly their balance. HOAxis's own fee is nothing during the beta, then $1.00 per successful payment on Free and 50¢ on Board.
Which homes count?
The active homes in your property registry: one home, one count. Board members and residents are never counted. The price follows the registry, so if you add or remove homes, the next bill moves to the matching band.
Can we get a copy of our data?
Yes, on every plan. Your records are yours, whether you stay or go. A one-download export of everything is on our roadmap; until it ships, ask us and we'll send you a complete copy.
